A great multitude of people came from all over to listen to and be healed by Jesus.
We are currently in the Epiphany Season. Epiphany lasts from four to nine weeks. It goes from January 6th to the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday. The exact length of the season varies, dependent upon the date of Easter. It is during this season that the various events that revealed the divinity of Jesus are celebrated.
We hope you will join us for worship. For more information about the worship services throughout the season of Epiphany, please contact the church office. The office will put you in touch with Larry Hollahan (Chairperson of the Worship Committee) or another member of the Worship Committee.
Unfortunately last week due to bad weather all activities at the church on Sunday, February 9th were canceled or postponed. Our SOUPerbowl Meal and Fellowship Event was postponed to February 16, but so also was our fund raiser for our local food charities - Helping Harvest and the Conrad Weiser Food Pantry. During our February 16 worship service we will taking a special offering for these two organizations. We call it Souper Bowl Sunday Special Offering. Both these organizations assist those in need in our community with supplemental groceries, like fresh produce, meat, milk/eggs, canned, boxed and bagged food. The hope is that with the items provided, clients may be able to purchase other needed food items within their budget.
Please help us raise funds for these two local food charities. Indicate on your offering envelope or in a plain envelope that your donation is for the Souper Bowl Sunday Special Offering. Thank you for helping our local people who need help.
