The Sunday before Easter is "Palm Sunday" and "Passion Sunday." 

Palm Sunday celebrates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem. Passion Sunday commemorates the beginning of Holy Week.

At the beginning of the worship service, the children will enter carrying palm fronds and process around the sanctuary during the first hymn. During the service the palms and palm crosses will be blessed. When the service is over there will be enough palm crosses for everyone to take some home with them.
